Pumpkin Lantern: Mischievous Grin
A cute jack-o'-lantern for Halloween. The orange body's lower edges curve inward and its top rounds off with slopes on all four sides, so it looks like a squat pumpkin instead of a box. The front has black ▲ triangle eyes and a zigzag-toothed grin with the corners curled upward. On top sit a short brown-green stem and a serrated leaf curling to the side. The body rests on a small black base.
Size
- Footprint is 10 × 6 studs, about 8.0 × 4.8 cm.
- Height including the leaf tip is about 7.8 cm.
Color palette (4 colors)
- Orange: body, teeth, and the edges of the eyes and mouth.
- Black: base, and the lining of the eyes and mouth.
- Brown: stem.
- Green: stem cap and leaf.
Assembly notes
- Each module sits on the studs of the top row of the one below it and can be removed by pulling upward.
- The full-length 6×10 plates in the middle of floor-1 and floor-2 tie all the wall parts together.
- The hanging upper teeth of floor-2 attach under their own upper-lip parts. When the module is installed, these teeth drop into the mouth cavity of floor-1; they do not collide with the cone teeth on floor-1.
- The mouth and eye rows have vertical joints in the same place, so these rows are not tied together by interlocking. Instead, each row is clamped by a full-length plate above and below.
- Recommended order: base, bottom row, plate, mouth and lower teeth, upper lip, upper teeth, band plate, eyes, slope ring, top plate, stem and leaf.
